Management system engineering is the design, development, operation, and improvement of systems that form the foundation of society, such as production, distribution, data communication and services. In today’s society, management systems engineering is essential as such systems are becoming global in scope, and of enormous size and complexity. This department studies effective utilization and optimum combination of the people, goods, equipment, money, and information that are the elements of such systems as basic topics, teaching and conducting research into the specialized knowledge and technology of problem discovery, formulation and resolution.
