February 15, 2024: Had the pleasure of attending a luncheon meeting in Osaka with Mr. Paul F. Roland, Director of the State of Indiana Japan Office. Over delicious Teppanyaki, we engaged in enriching discussions spanning Japanese and American management philosophies, leadership dynamics, talent acquisition strategies, and training methodologies. It was as delicious as ever! While stationed in the United States from 2011 to 2018, I had great interactions with the wonderful people of Indiana.

May 16, 2024: Participating in “Kenseikan“ Karate practice for the first time in 40 years, and staying overnight at “Wakei Juku”

May 16, 2024: Stayed at "Wakei Juku (和敬塾)," a university dormitory in Tokyo. In the evening, I participated in “Kenseikan (拳誠館)” karate practice at the dojo here for the first time in about 40 years. Although I couldn't move as well as I used to and was exhausted, I was very happy to reunite with so many old friends. I enjoyed drinking until late at a social gathering with friends from Kenseikan, and the next morning, I had breakfast at Wakei Juku. May 18, 2024: The reunion of 1982 graduates from Wakei Juku West Dormitory was held in Roppongi, Tokyo.

June 8, 2024: Attended the Kellogg Alumni Club of Japan's tour of the Asahi Beer Museum, followed by dinner in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka. I had a wonderful time with the nostalgic Kellogg alumni! The club aims to foster connections among alumni in Japan and enhance the presence of the Kellogg School of Management in the Japanese business community.
