October 1, 2013: NTN has announced the promotion of Tetsuya Sogo as CEO of the Americas region

TETSUYA SOGO ACCEPTS NEW PROMOTION WITH NTN USA, AMERICAS MT. PROSPECT, IL – NTN is proud to announce the promotion of Tetsuya Sogo as CEO of the Americas Region, President of NTN USA and Chairman of NTN Bearing Corporation of America. This promotion is effective October 1, 2013. Mr. Sogo has spent his entire career with NTN and held many different significant positions in engineering, project management, cross-border M&A, strategic alliance, corporate planning and strategic leadership roles. Most recently he served as Executive Officer of NTN Corporation, Deputy General Director of Americas Region, and Executive VP of NTN USA Corporation, responsible for profitability improvement and business expansion in Automotive, Industrial OEM and Aftermarket in North and South Americas Region. His new role will expand upon these areas of responsibility. He holds an engineering degree from Waseda University in Tokyo and an executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Sogo succeeds Mr. Toru Tomiyama, who has retired to an advisory position with NTN Corporation in Osaka, Japan.
