June 7, 2025: Had the opportunity to give a lecture titled “What I Have Learned in the Trend of Globalization” to a wide range of alumni from Wakei Juku, a student dormitory in Tokyo, at the seminar room on the 15th floor of the Osaka Dojimahama Tower. After the lecture, we had a lively and enjoyable reunion gathering, which made for a truly delightful time.

May 18, 2025: Yesterday, I stayed at Wakei Juku, a student dormitory in Tokyo, for the first time in a year, as there was a grand gathering of karate club alumni held at the Main Hall. This morning, I had breakfast in the cafeteria together with the current students. It reminded me once again of how strong and precious the bond is among those who shared the same meals and spent their youthful days together. Last year when I stayed here, breakfast in the cafeteria was bread, but this morning it was rice. Just like in the old days, rice and miso soup were available for unlimited refills. A memorial service for Master Oka, who passed away at the end of last year, was held on May 17th. Despite the rain, 70 alumni of Kenseikan Karate Club attended to honor his memory.
