July 15, 2024: Kenseikan karate club reunion in Roppongi, Tokyo

July 15, 2024: Visited Roppongi in Tokyo for a Kenseikan (拳誠館) karate club reunion from my school days.















The symbol of Roppongi Hills is a large spider sculpture. This sculpture was placed in the plaza with the hope that "like a spider's web, a network will spread from Roppongi, where people can meet and create something new."

September 15, 2024: Attended the 30th-anniversary memorial service in Tokyo for Master Wataru Okawa (大川渉師範), the founder of Kenseikan (拳誠館) Karate, where I had an unexpected reunion with Mr. Nandana Wijewardana, who runs a dojo and teaches karate in Canada. I was also able to reconnect with many others I had missed, and together we fondly remembered Master Okawa. May 16, 2024: Participating in “Kenseikan“ Karate practice for the first time in 40 years, and staying overnight at “Wakei Juku”

May 16, 2024: Stayed at "Wakei Juku (和敬塾)," a university dormitory in Tokyo. In the evening, I participated in “Kenseikan (拳誠館)” karate practice at the dojo here for the first time in about 40 years. Although I couldn't move as well as I used to and was exhausted, I was very happy to reunite with so many old friends. June 8, 2024: Attended the Kellogg Alumni Club of Japan's tour of the Asahi Beer Museum, followed by dinner in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka. I had a wonderful time with the nostalgic Kellogg alumni! The club aims to foster connections among alumni in Japan and enhance the presence of the Kellogg School of Management in the Japanese business community.
